Jayme Carleton
After graduating with a business administration degree from the University of Washington, my wife Jayme became devoted to sustainability and the environment -- her true passion.
Initially working as Director of Operations in custom home construction (including several award winning and best in show homes), Jayme currently leverages her LEED and Certified Sustainable Builing Advisor (CSBA) accreditations as a sustainability consultant for her business, Second Nature™.
As part of her business, Jayme enjoys educating corporations and the public through various media including a blog on her website which discusses sustainable news and offers Jayme Tips™ on how to become green cost effectively.
Tom & Elizabeth Carleton
My dad Tom is a fellow Cyclone and Kappa Sigma brother. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering and is currently the CEO for Ryko Manufacturing; a vehicle wash system manufacturer. ...I am still yet to beat my father in a round of golf.
My mom Liz acquired her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English as an Iowa Hawkeye (we can't all be perfect). I look up to my mom in a lot of ways, but even more than ever since I've seen her strength in overcoming breast cancer; she has been cancer free since early 2005!
My parents have always set the bar high, provided a great example for the family, and have been married over 30 years.
Jennifer Carleton
My sister Jennifer also graduated from Iowa State University, earning degrees in both Advertising and Spanish. She also has an evil cat named Jack that likes to attack me in my sleep. Having recently moved to northwestern Arkansas, she currently works for Sam's Club as a marketing project manager.
Justin & Denise Carleton
My brother Justin and his wife Denise met while they both lived in Denver, even though she grew up in Massachusetts and my brother in Iowa. After they got their fill of the mile-high city, they decided to move to Ankeny, IA to be closer with family.
Justin is currently working for Schindler Elevator Corporation as a Sales Representative. Denise, when not taking care of two kids, utilizes her nursing degree at Mercy Medical in Des Moines, IA.
Justin graduated from Iowa State University in Marketing and received an MBA from the University of Denver. Ironically enough, he is also a Kappa Sigma brother, making all three Carleton men, brothers.

Madison Carleton & Spencer Carleton
Madison is my niece, daughter of my brother Justin, and the first of the next-generation Carletons. Ever since I gave her a red wagon for Christmas, she just can't wait to see her Uncle Jordan!
And the newest edition, Spencer Carleton, is the second child of my brother and was born March 18th, 2007. It looks like the Carleton name will continue another generation.
Scotch
My first real responsibility came in February 2007 when I took the plunge and got a dog. He's one year old, full of energy, and loves to play with all of his friends including Joey, Maxx, Butters, Mason, Mattie, Kimber, and Earl Grey. Indeed, Scotch has become quite the socialite in such a short period of time!
Why did I name my dog Scotch? ...Denny Crane.
